Marianne Lusby currently lives and works in the English Lake District. This beautiful region offers an abundance of inspiration for her work in ceramics & jewellery. Having grown up in the Scottish Borders in a family with a deep interest in natural history especially botany as well as spinning, weaving and many other art forms, inspired her from an early age. She studied BA (Hons) in Contemporary Crafts, specialising in ceramics and now works with mainly porcelain and silver, heavily inspired by botanical theme. She also teaches ceramics at the local art college.
